nPlayer 3.5.0 Update News!

Hi everybody!

Version 3.5.0. has just been updated 🙂

Lots of new features have been added to the new version and the overall usability as well as the existing features have been improved. More than anything, we are very happy to announce that we now support a variety of file formats including H.264 video when using AirPlay, Chromecast and PiP mode. Trust me, you may look forward to all the improvement, usefulness and convenience!

Also, one more good news for you. We will launch the Help website for nPlayer shortly to help you utilize diverse features of nPlayer. Of course it will be updated on a regular basis.

Lastly, nPlayer for Android users! We are working very hard to make it as soon as possible and most of the iOS features will be included. Heads Up: We are going to leak (?) the screen shot of this soon…

    Guys,
    I own the paid version of nPlayer, and noticed that while it can play MP3s and FLACs, for example, we don’t have buttons to go back and forward X seconds (usually 10, but it could be 30), and the window is too small, it doesn’t fill the screen as it happens with videos (it really should, or at least it COULD do this, if we wanted), making it very difficult (I also use the iPAD Pro 9.7) to move right and left, skipping to other moments from that audio. Also, the finger gestures do not work with audios. For example, I can’t press twice the middle of the screen to pause the video/resume playback.

    To put it simply, the experience is very bad in this player ONLY WHEN we try to listen to audios/music.

    I must say this is my favorite player of all time to watch videos, light-years better in the experience provided for it. However it seriously lacks a revamp/overhaul in this feature only. I hope you can fix this in future releases. Sure I can insert each audio in a video file (using MKVToolnix and without any reencode), but for many tracks that takes a LOT OF TIME. And it wastes twice the disk space.

    nplayer webdav 활성화 후 파일를 전송하거나 nas에서 네트웍으로 접속해서 파일을 다운로드 받을 때 백그라운드에 계속 살아 있게 할 수 없나요? 자꾸 종료되서 불편합니다 계속 켜놓기도 뭐하고…
    혹시 충전중일때는 백그라운드에서 계속 살아 있게 할 수 없을까요? 현재 nplayer webdav를 이용해서 차량에서 파일 형식으로 이용해서 다른 장비에서 접속해서 무선 외장 하드 같이 이용하고 있습니다
    파일을 전송하거나 위와 같은 역활을 수행하려면 nplayer을 실핼시켜놓고 아이폰의 잠자기를 해제 해야 하는데 불편하네요 방법이 있을까요?

      백그라운드 다운로드 시 iOS에서 약 10분이상 동작할 수 없도록 제한하고 있습니다. 해당 부분은 iOS에서 제한된 기능으로 현재로서는 nPlayer에서 컨트롤 할 수 없습니다. 도움드리지 못하여 죄송합니다. 😂

    Hello! I just sent you guys an email. I cannot stream to my new Smart TV any video…even mp4 or mkv…only mp3…why? Please help!!!!! I bought a 1500$ Smart TV and now I just realised I can use the app for streaming videos to it…but as I tap for playing it starts loading and never ends…and of course never plays. Please!!! I NEED URGENT ANSWER/HELP! Thanks so much for you app 😀

    유료버전을 구매했습니다만 크롬캐스트로 스트리밍을 안됩니다. Airplay 아래에 iPad만 보입니다. 유튜브에서 크롬캐스트로 스트리밍 문제없어 되니까 nPlayer 문제라고밖에 안보이내요. 답변 부탁드립니다.

    – bigger thumbnails on iPad
    – use cover image (if present inside mp4) instead of creating a thumbnail.
    – use core audio decode (QT?) by default (for mp3, aac,… etc.)

    윈도우용이나 맥용 os… nPlayer의 출시가 필요합니다. 사실 휴대폰으로 앤플레이어를 사용하는 이유는 바로 DTS HEADPHONE X가 지원되어서 헤드폰으로 엄청난 입체사운드를 즐기고 있기 때문입니다. 하지만 늘 휴대폰의 작은 화면이 아쉽고 패드의 화면이 아쉽습니다. 피시로 출력되어 대형화면 또는 프로젝터로 영상을 쏘고 , 헤드폰으로 앤플레이어가 지원해주는 DTS HEADPHONE X 기능으로 영화를 감상한다면 극장이 따로 없을듯 합니다. 저는 왜 휴대폰으로만 이 멋진 기능이 앤플레이어에 지원이 되었는지 궁금합니다. 데스크탑용 엔플레이가 출시되면 얼마가 소요되더라도 DTS HEADPHONE X 기능을 누리기 위해서 당장 구입할것입니다. 조속히 세부계획을 잡으셔서 더 큰 이익을 창출해 주시기 바랍니다.

    srt3dass라는 프로그램으로 3d 자막을 만든 후에-자막을 나누어진 영상 위치에 생성해주는 역할을 합니다.-크롬캐스트로 출력을 하면 자막이 두줄로 합쳐져서 나옵니다. 뭔가 방법이 없을까요? srt 자막을 ass로 변환하여 사용하는 중입니다. 3d 영상을 볼때 유용한 툴인데 nplayer+chromecast 조합에서 안되네요.

      크롬캐스트의 재생 원리는, nPlayer가 재생할 파일을 크롬캐스트에 전달하면 재생은 크롬캐스트가 하게 됩니다. 따라서 크롬캐스트 자체에서 지원하지 않는 포맷, 코덱은 재생할 수 없습니다. 현재 크롬캐스트는 ASS 자막 파일 형식을 지원하지 않고있습니다. 이용에 참고해주시기 바랍니다.

    갑자기 생각난 질문인데요..아이패드 미니를 사용하면서 VR로 영상을 보고 싶은데요.
    세로로 세운상태로 영상만 아래부분으로 출력 되면 기기에 삽입하여 가능할 듯 합니다.(위에서 아래로 끼우는 방식) 영상 위치를 위 아래로 이동할 수 없을까요??

      현재 영상을 확대하여 위치를 이동하는것은 가능하지만, 영상 자체의 위치를 이동하는 기능은 지원하지 않습니다. 해당 부분은 이후 기능 개선시 참고할 수 있도록 하겠습니다. 🙂

    아이패드로 보고있었을떄 팝업창으로 하면 화면에 떠서 바로 다른앱을 사용할수있었는데
    갑자기 엔플레이어 이 앱안에서만 팝업창으로 뜨고 홈버튼을 누르면 바로 사라져버려요. 어떻게 해야하나요?

    저번에 질문드렸었던 질문에 답변을 잘해주셔서
    1.팝업창을 띄어서 앱내에서 영상을 보기도 하고,
    2.앱외에서도 창을 띄어서 영상을 보고 있기도 해요!
    but 동영상 자체에 (오른쪽 맨 위쪽에 앱밖에서 띄울수있는 그 창 이모티콘 자체 가 없는경우는
    어떻게 앱 밖으로 창을 띄울수있을까요?
    어떤 동영상 들은 앱밖으로 띄울수없도록 아예 아이콘 자체가 없어요 ㅠ( 맨 오른쪽상단에 있어야 할 그 앱 이모티콘 이..ㅠㅜㅠ)

      PIP는 H.264 비디오 코덱을 포함하고 있는 파일을 재생할 경우에만 가능합니다. 재생하신 파일의 비디오 코덱을 확인해주시기 바랍니다. 🙂
